Shabbat Hayom: A Chrome Add-on for Shabbat Reminders
Shabbat Hayom is a small Chrome add-on that provides users with reminders for Shabbat. With real-time information taken from the hebcal website, this add-on will pop up once on every website you visit if it is Shabbat today.
If the reminders become annoying, you can easily remove the add-on or simply keep Shabbat! Because it's Shabbat Hayom!
If it's not Shabbat today, the add-on won't pop up at all. But if it does, let me know.
Permissions: The add-on requires location access to check if it's Shabbat where you are. The information is sent anonymously to the "hebcal" website. The add-on also requires access to your browsing activity to inject the reminder in every tab, but it doesn't do anything with that information.
Shabbat Hayom is a lighthearted add-on born out of humor and the absence of social and/or romantic life. It should not be taken seriously, and I am not responsible for it.
